1. Read the below points
2. Evaluate where your business currently stands on the following:
   1. Are you clear on the value you’re offering?
   2. To what extent is this value new value?
   3. Are you guilty of trying to win simply through being “better” than your competitors?
   4. Can you point to anything you are sacrificing?
   5. Are you solving a fresh problem for customers, or the same one as everyone else?
3. Be brutally honest with yourself. Don’t sugar coat it.
4. Use this analysis to judge your strategic power moving forwards.

✨ AI Support

This one is more about your own mindset, and doesn’t necessarily need AI support.

However you can consider using AI to interrogate your analysis, to keep you honest and push you to a higher standard - since the biggest danger here is lying to yourself.

1. Prompt the AI like this:

   “I want you to act as my honest and direct strategic partner when analysing my business. I am going to explain beliefs about my business and I want you to challenge me where you think that what I’m saying is either a) not objectively true, b) self-flattering or delusional, or c) where I’m letting myself off the hook lightly. My goal is to create a business with true and genuine differentiation that will separate me from my competitors and drive outsized profits, but to start with I need to be clear on the business’s strategic strength today, and that is what this exercise is about. Do not hold back, be brutal if necessary.”

2. Then after this explain whatever context is necessary about your business and its market, and then lay down your beliefs about those questions - and see if it agrees.
